Edita Rosana Widasari completed her doctoral studies at the University of Miyazaki (UoM) in Japan and was honored with the Female Researcher Encouragement Award from UoM in 2021. She also graduated with a master's degree through a double-degree program between the Department of Electrical Engineering at Brawijaya University (UB) and UoM-Japan, and obtained her undergraduate degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering at UB. She have been serving as a lecturer in Computer Engineering at UB since 2016, teaching courses that include Digital Signal Computing, Computer-Based Medical Systems, Computer and Network Systems Analysis, Electronic Circuits, and Intelligent Systems. Beginning in 2022, She have taken on the role of Head of the Robotics and Embedded Systems Laboratory.

Her research interests primarily lie in the field of biomedical engineering, with a focus on signal processing and its application to Embedded Systems using AI. She have received recognition for her work, including the Best Student Paper Award at an IEEE conference, along with several publications in high-impact conferences and international journals. Furthermore, She had held the position of General Chair for both national conferences (Seminar Nasional Teknologi dan Rekayasa Informasi - SENTRIN 2022) and international conferences (Sustainable Information Engineering and Technology - SIET 2023).

Over the years, She have contributed to the field through her roles as an editorial board member for the SINTA-2 accredited Journal of Information Technology and Computer Science (JTIIK) and as a permanent reviewer for high-impact (Q1 and Q2) journals such as Elsevier's Biomedical Signal Processing and Control, Expert Systems With Applications, MDPI's Sensors, Children, International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, and Applied Sciences, as well as Nature Journal's Communications Engineering.
